For this shot, I used the continuous shooting mode on my camera and held it in one place while the shark swam past. I then stitched those together in post to get the full shark in frame.

The Georgia Aquarium has several whale sharks, and they’re amazing to see. Watching these giant fish appear out of nowhere and come swimming into the light is at first startling(and even a bit frightening), and then you’re struck with awe at just how graceful these animals are.
